Did Randi just say Kerry is not running to win?
That he's running a positive campaign just so Bush can be re-elected and the Clintons can be back in power in 2008, etc etc

Was she just being sarcastic?

1. I think she was admitting to a dark thought she had when she was
feeling really depressed, but it is never to be uttered again.

3. She was kidding about Bush and Kerry both being members of
Yale's skull and bones society and maybe it's a S&B plot to keep Bush in office. Part of her kidding was that Kerry isn't campaigning hard enough.

We all need more patience. This campaign isn't going to start until September. Almost everyone is frustrated with Kerry because he's not out there burying Bush on a daily basis. Be patient. I think we're going to bury BushCo in Nov. But let's lay off Kerry and stop blaming him because the freepers have control of virtually all the media outlets. What's Kerry suppossed to do? Go on NPR and say that the media's against him?

Seymour Hersh, the CIA and the DoD want to see Bush buried this fall. Hopefully, that's all the allies we need.

I got the impression that Randi was not all than behind Kerry.

It is just another dimension to look at, I think.

It is pretty obvious that people are not that all enthused by Kerry.

We do NOT NEED a lacadaisical candidate who does not seem to have the balls to9 challenge
Bush.

We see these stupid and ridiculous appearances by Bush as in today's appearance where he lies and lies and lies

and we see NOTHING that challenges him from our opposition candidate and I am getting sick of this.

6. Oh quit whining.
Kerry beat all the rest. Politics is not entertainment. Its about winning. Kerry knows how to win and he will.

8. yes, and that is exactly what Bush does, is it not?
Win by any Machiavellian or Straussian means, even if it means lying to the people.

We the people do not seem to matter that much in that case on either side.

7. "Don't get in the way of your opponent's train wreck."
That's the Kerry strategy right now and I think until (or if) the bad news for Smirky ever winds down Kerry can turn up the rhetoric all he needs to at that time.

In the meantime, pop some corn and enjoy the show.

9. A couple of weeks ago, Tony Coehlo and
Buchanan were asked about this "laying back" approach and both agreed that there is a risk for a candidate who lays back for so long, that they can't really "put on the heat" when the time comes effectively. Part of it is the psychology of the candidate who can't quite crank it up believably. I think (and this is just my own two cents) that part of it is the electorate, too...that the image of the laid back candidate suddenly "energized" may cause a "cognitive dissonance" that knocks things off stride, too.

5. Black thought she had over the weekend
She was at home with a broken toe and the flu, and she had a scary "What if" moment. She didn't mean it seriously.

just leap at every opportunity to try to cast doubt on a Kerry candidacy. They are always reading closet disapproval into every statement they can find. Guess what Kerry won. Get over it. And he will win if you stop whining and painting us and him in a neagative light!
