COUP D'ETAT:The Real Reason Tenet and Pavitt Resigned from the
CIA on June 3rd and 4th

Bush, Cheney Indictments in Plame Case Looming

JUNE 8, 2004 1600 PDT (FTW) - Why did DCI George Tenet suddenly resign on June 3rd, only to be followed a day later by James Pavitt, the CIA's Deputy Director of Operations (DDO)?

The real reasons, contrary to the saturation spin being put out by major news outlets, have nothing to do with Tenet's role as taking the fall for alleged 9/11 and Iraqi intelligence "failures" before the upcoming presidential election.

Both resignations, perhaps soon to be followed by resignations from Colin Powell and his deputy Richard Armitage, are about the imminent and extremely messy demise of George W. Bush and his Neocon administration in a coup d'etat being executed by the Central Intelligence Agency. The coup, in the planning for at least two years, has apparently become an urgent priority as a number of deepening crises threaten a global meltdown.

1. LOL
This article has been posted here already more times than I can count. To be honest, I have no idea if what he says is true. We'll just have to wait and see.

3. I doubt it.
If Colin Powell resigns before the election, then I'll be proven wrong.

4. 35 members of congress subscribe to his newsletter
Wellstone believed in his efforts. I think he it excellent.
Stan Goff and Wayne Madsen didn't just get of the carrot truck either.
Go to his site and check it out. To hear him speak, then you really can make your decision.

5. I met Ruppert in 1998
and so far as I can tell he is precisely what he appears to be -- a one time LAPD narcotics investigator turned self-taught journalist.

Mike makes mistakes but they are honest mistakes. I cringe whenever he makes predictions -- I think he should just stick to presenting the facts. In this particular instance, however, I suspect he may be right. (Sy Hersh has been hinting at this for at least a couple years.)

I've been telling everyone that the RUMOR is that "W" will NOT be seeking reelection. I should carry a camera to record the expressions. This is one of those things that, well, either it will turn out to be true or it won't. Obviously I'm hoping strongly that it DOES turn out to be true. It will be one hell of a shock to our society, that is for sure. But as he makes clear in his closing remarks in this article, even with * gone, we can not guarantee that whoever replaces them will be more sympathetic to progressive concerns.

6. Ruppert blew his credibility early
on the Mike Vreeland junk.

This was another earth shattering "scoop" from Ruppert that turned out to be bunk.

The Vreeland stuff died out after Vreeland himself opened his own message board and posted sappy religious writings akin to the classic "Footsteps" story about walking with Jesus on the beach.

A big clue is when they publish controversial stuff noone else will touch and also sell their books on their site. Al Martin and Alex Jones are two more who fall into this category.
