Michael Moore on Today, has anyone seen the interview?
Matt Lauer is promoting this interview in a few minutes, has anyone seen it? Matt Lauer is interviewing him, so that's got to be the intellectual mismatch of the day. MKJ

1. It was a snippet from a Dateline interview later in the week. . .
. . .he just probes Moore about the video of the soldiers abusing the Iraqis and why Moore did not release it earlier. Some DUers will feel that Laurer is being a whore, whereas I state Laurer is a journalist who is doing his job. . .asking the tough questions.

2. it's valid to ask that question
and it seems Moore himself isn't sure he did the right thing.

I hope Lauer also asks him about the flight of the bin Ladens, especially since as far as I know Lauer and the rest of the whores FAILED to report this important story in the first place.

3. Lauer was ok on this one
The full interview will be on NBC's Dateline, Friday (I believe) at 8pm EDT.

4. Thanks
Saw the snippet...Moore holds his own, asking Lauer if a journalist should be an "investigative arm of the US government". Usually Lauer's interview style drives me nuts, he often tries the "ambush questions" without finessing the interview to the point where they're the logical next questions. Instead he seems to fire the questions randomly, without context, and hope to hit his target with an arbitrary shot, rather than narrowing the focus and scoring a single, accurate hit. MKJ

5. Moore:"I Don't Trust The Mainstream Media" Laurer's Dumbest Suggestion..
Why didn't you give it to the Defense Department...Yeah, sure, give it to the perpetrators of the whole thing, expecting them to incriminate themselves with it...

Also liked Moore's "What would you have done?" and " You know what you would have said..."he's just trying to get publicity for his new movie..." and "I don't have a television station"

What's great is Moore is basically untouchable now and doesn't have to kiss the interviewer's asses like most guest do...
