How R Freepers reacting to the 9/11 comm. report on Iraq?
I don't like visiting there much, I can't seem to get all of the scum off my keyboard when i do.
but, has anyone checked out their reaction to the 9/11 commission's report that there was No
repeat
no connection between 9/11 and Iraq?

I am curious what our fine and honorable vice president will say now. Other than, Mr. Attorney, should I answer that question, that is.

Just wait for the talking heads on Faux Gnus try to 'splain this one away, Lucy.

Clearly the 9/11 commison is "out of the loop"
along with all the generals, diplomats and national security people that have criticized the administration.

3. I had the unfortunate...
opportunity to listen to Rush during my lunch hour. He said the "fact" of the matter still remains: One of Saddam's generals met with OBL in 1994. Therefore, there is a connection.

Pigboy just doesn't realize OBL didn't like Saddam very much. He even called him a traitor.

8. Well, since Mush and his Dildoheads are probably reading this thread...
...let me say, for the record, that indeed there was a connection between Osama BinLaden and Saddam Hussein.

Both were employees of George Bush Sr's CIA.

16. I've wondered if it's due to mental illness
Edited on Wed Jun-16-04 12:54 PM by redqueen
the inability to rethink your opinions once confronted with evidence that shows you may be wrong...

but it's probably more along the lines of consciously ignoring facts so that you don't have to think at all. So it's not a mental illness, just a character flaw.

why I hate going over there.
Those people are freepin insane!

a bilateral commission says something that attacks their very foundation, so they attack the messenger, discount the message and claim to know more than a group of pros that has concentrated on this issue since its inception.

truly amazing. hey, maybe we can send them all to South Carolina when they secede and start home skuling their little freepers.

18. This is some funny shit!
These goofballs are completely stupid. Here are some quotes:

"Nice - Anyone who thinks Saddam and O.B.L. did not work together has his head in the sand, what, do you think the Iranians work alone? They all work together, they are all collude - Syrians, Libyans and all the rest of that part of the middle east." - Translation: All them sand niggers is in it together.

"The Commission are a de facto coup attempt against Bush. They are traitors." - Translation: This makes our boy look bad, so I'll call a BI-PARTISON committee hand-picked by Dumbya traitors.

"And now President Bush is getting ready to turn Saddam over to the Iraqis rather than bring him before a U.S. military tribunal where he can be sentenced to death for his role in the 9/11 attacks. To me, this is a slap in the face to all who died on that day." - Translation: I'm a complete fucking moron and I like to finger my own ass and HEY LOOK! Something Shiny!

No integrity over there whatsoever.....

Most of the crap over there is hilarious to me. Easily refuted tripe always makes me chuckle. I know that a lot of people here get frightened at the thought that people can be so stupid and selfish, but not me. I know that these fucksticks are but a small group of zealots who are worthy of nothing but ridicule and scorn.

Even my few dumb conservative friends think that those idiots are over the edge.

<channels Rummy> Are they incapable of logical thought? Maybe. Were their parents related? Probably. Will they go the way of the wooley mammoth in the future? Who knows? Will we defeat them this November? YOU'RE FUCKING RIGHT WE WILL!

22. "Are one of the WMD atheists who *believe*
there never were any WMD"

A gem from a freeper contributor on Drudge Retort. The following are some other gems.

I swear, the Democrats are getting more and more desperate every day. Let's hear it for the "silent majority" that will put President Bush back in office in November.
--------------------
You are quibbling. In the future, the whereabouts of the WMD will be discovered. That is inevitable. If that is too late to assist Bush, then it will be a hugely successful discovery for Kerry or his successor. Unless you are one of the WMD atheists who *believe* there never were any WMD...?
-----------------------------------
You guys are right. W sucks, the U.S. is always wrong and islam is the religion of the future. The only humane thing to do is round up all the liberals, send them to Bagdad, and let them start an anti-american utopia there. John Kerry can be the savior. I will stay here and suffer in the terrible USA good luck!
---------------------------
Murdoch is honest, and he reports the truth, and that's why he's rich.
------------------------------------------
There is a significant number of people on the left, and in the Democratic Party, who sincerely want this country to lose the war in Iraq. Their short term interests are apparently aligned with many of those one billion unconvertible Muslims whose goal in life, and death, is the utter destruction of the United States of America.
Iraq has been central to the war on terrorism since before 9/11 and the left refuses to see this. Forget stockpiles of WMD for a moment and just consider the intent of Saddam and his strategic position in the Middle East. He had to go and Clinton and the Democrats knew this years ago, but did not want to do the job themselves. Now that Bush is doing it for them, and us, they want the steering wheel back. So, defeat for Bush is more important than victory for America.
-------------------------------
Liberals do suck and they are also mentally ill. Just look at the Hollyweirds, they are all mentally ill. Do you know who is reallly behind the demonstrations? The Marxists that's who, and guess who the biggest one is? Old Hitlary Clinton herself.
--------------------------
Bush is the most physically fit President we've ever had. He would beat the shit outta the flabby basterd Clinton.
Face the facts, Clinton had an easy 8 years. Bush has had one of the hardest Presidencies since FDR. Meaning very bad things have occured that hurt this country that he didn't have a hand in.(9/11, economy, corporate fraud, etc.)
Clinton is a true draft dodger. You go become a pilot like Bush Stax. You cant b/c you are too stupid. And the election, its called the electoral college you dumb fuck. Props to Bush for focusing on the states he needed to win. Bush did crack, Clinton did weed. So what, haven't we all tried something illegal once in our lives.
And if it comes down to the U.S. versus the world guess who wins? We do. This isn't western europe where we are surrounded by other countries. Wanna talk world domination? We have 11 carriers, Russia is second and they have 1. HAHA. Our military is literally light years ahead of most of the world. We are the nicest conquerors the world has ever seen. Germany destroyed cities when they invaded. We make every effort to keep them intact. Libs stop blinding yourselfs to the evils of the rest of the world while pretending that we are such an evil country.

25. Sorry Kiddos...Bush is now saying there IS a connection.
The report contradicts statements from the Bush administration that Saddam Hussein had ties to al Qaeda.

In response, a senior administration official traveling with President Bush in Tampa, Florida, said, "We stand by what Powell and Tenet have said," referring to previous statements by Secretary of State Colin Powell and CIA Director George Tenet that described such links.
