What ever happened to the photo-journalist who took the pictures
of the military coffins? She was fired and I was so disappointed there wasn't more pressure for her to be hired back or someone else to offer her a position. It was one of the most Nobelist and patriotic acts I've seen in a long time, to risk your job to do what is right should be commended! I just wondered if anyone had heard what happened to her.
was she? I thought she and her husband both worked in some capacity for the cargo firm that handles the casket loading duties. The company fired both of them. IIRC they both moved back to the Seattle area.
2. I'm not sure if she was or not, I just thought there would be much more
support for her. And I see her photos all the time here at DU. I just think it's a shame to let her fall to the way side when she did such a courageous thing.
