8. everytime i hear this argument
by the rightwing, i think to myself: "ask the parents of 700 dead american soldiers if the world's better off.... ask the families of the thousands and thousands of dead iraqis if the world's better off.... ask the thousands of maimed iraqis AND americans if the world's better without saddam... ask the world community, once bound closely with trust and respect, if the world's better off now... ask the children (and their children) who'll be paying for this fake war for countless years to come, if the world's a better place... ask the prisoners at abu ghraib if the world's a better place now..."

i think the only group of people who're happier now that saddam is gone and we have invaded iraq (besides the bush cabal) is al qaeda...

ask THEM if the world's better off.
