Clinton was impeached for a "nuance" about what sex was or wasn't. Bush hasn't been impeached for a "nuance" about whether there were WMD's in Iraq, or whether Iraq was connected to and tied in with al Qaeda and 9/11. Clinton's actions, while personally reprehensible, killed no one. Over 800 soldiers have died in Iraq.
Clinton was impeached. Bush hasn't been.
During the eight years of the Clinton administration, over 19 million jobs were created, a budget deficit that had been a problem for a generation was turned into a surplus, and we were respected by all nations of the world. President Bush's administration has lost over 1 million jobs, the deficits have returned to a point so staggering that my grandchildren will not see them paid off, and we are either feared or despised throughout the world.
Clinton was impeached. Bush hasn't been.
During the eight years of the Clinton administration, the FBI, CIA and executive branch worked together to identify, track, prosecute, and convict the perpetrators of the Oklahoma City bombing and the first World Trade Center bombing. President Bush's administration has managed to alienate the CIA by pressuring them to "sex up" Iraqi intelligence estimates to justify a war, and his administration "outed" a covert CIA operative, which is a violation of federal law. The FBI, under attorney general John Ashcroft, has been given powers that exceed the rights and guarantees given the people written down in the Constitution, and have used those powers to harass, intimidate, and arrest those that would dissent from the party line and exercise their right to free speech.
Clinton was impeached. Bush hasn't been.
