It's quite sad that these people sit in silence and post away to somehow SPRING UP and GET US! I think we need a healthy division of perspectives in this forum but a few posters are starting to show their true colors. I am not gonna call anyone out because I can't be sure, but my gut is sure rumbling.

Well, I'll say I am certainly to the Right of some of you folks in here, but don't go labeling me a dittohead. I won't go into backing up my positions, but I am a democrat, but also a southerner so you guys tick me off from time to time :). I am sure there are some right wingers in here though. Maybe we'll get through to one or two of them. So long as they abide by the rules...who cares. I mean lets face it it would be a brave one to poist in here...and I don't mean one of those hit and run "You Libs are @%#Holes" type posts. He'd be incinerated by the flames. I peruse their forums and have been known to post....And generally I was quickly flamed too. I think some of us are wound a little too tightly in here.

I have never hit the ALERT button and won't until someone is breaking the law. I don't care if they are here, it is just the fact that they try to blend in and try to subvertly attack us (if that is even possible). Seems stupid to me.

albeit an avowed, raging Lefty, I think your comments are spot on. With such a large member base it's unavoidable that a significant number of posters will be the type who succumb to Groupthink, are prone to kneejerk reactions and even a few bullies who occasionally pile on anybody who challenges the orthodoxy.

Fortunately, there are also plenty of free thinkers; left, right and center, who enjoy actual debate and usually manage to keep the intelligent conversation going- in spite of, throughout or even due to the flamefests.
