We know from the PNAC document what the neocon plans for America in the 21st century are. We also know that in order to accomplish their goals, the writers of the PNAC document declared that another Pearl Harbor would be needed. They got their wish on 9/11.
Imagine now for an instance (not saying a I believe any of this, just throwing out some thoughts) that the * administration did indeed MIHOP. Afterall, Osama Bin Laden was our guy in Afghanistan against the Soviet Union (during the Reagan years). We trained him and his people, gave them weapons, etc. Saudi Arabia is our biggest ally in the region and has close, close ties to the Bush administration. Interestingly enough a majority of the 9/11 hijackers had Saudi passports. Bush wanted and needed a reason to go into Iraq, and so the administration fabricated edidence and intelligence, and wham bam, thank you m'am, we're there. Some sought to uncover the propaganda and lies being fed to the Congress and the world as "evidence" that Saddam had to go. In response, the Bush administration outed a CIA NOC - looked like the story would roll over and die, but of late has taken a bounce. The 9/11 Commission, was set up to appease the families of the victims, no one from the administration thought they would actually uncover anything, but the press started connecting dots. Lo and behold a day after the press started seriously addressing questions we tin-foilers have had for 2 1/2 years, another American is beheaded - this time in (surprise, surprise) Saudi Arabia!
Like I said, just throwing some ideas out there, but it is enough to make even your biggest anti-conspiracy-theorist don a tin foil hat.
