Of course, we'll see what happens after Plamegate explodes.

1. Good. I want him to stay as VP.
He's the worst. Anyone else would be a step up. We need him to stay on the ticket, he brings it down. People don't trust or like him. He has like a 30% approval rating. Anyone else (Guliani, etc) would help the ticket a little bit. We don't want that! :)

11. no kidding, anyone got favorable numbers on him?
though I'm not sure why he really needs to be vice president to still be the head of the shadow government

2. For the same reason he was on in 2000: To add gravitas to the ticket
George W. Bush continues to lack foreign policy experience.

6. He will be dumped in a New York minute if....
they perceive he is pulling Bush down or if htey think someone else might help....especially if Bush gets behind in the polls and does not make any progress for two or three weeks...Cheney is on thin ice, in my opinion.

7. If Cheney goes, why do they need Bush?
When Sherry Lewis died, Lambchop fell curiously silent.

8. Of course, if they had someone else as VP,
that person might not want to step aside for Jeb in 2008 ....
