The assassin in Saudi Arabia has been killed...
Now reported on all the networks. So soon after the beheading, they say they have killed the leader. They are lying out of their ass, would be my guess. They need certain people to think they have taken care of the problem. Did they know where the guy was at before the beheading? They discovered him might quickly, it seems to me?? Lot of lies and propaganda filling the air today. What to believe? What to believe?

(snip)

Abdel Aziz al-Muqrin, the leader of al Qaeda's cell in Saudi Arabia, was killed, Saudi security sources told CNN.

He was killed while disposing of Johnson's body, the Arabic-language television network Al-Arabiya reported.

Then you'd have to question them. That'd make some powerful people very uncomfortable.

16. which leads me to a question I have always had and maybe my fellow
DUers can answer it for me. The 19 terrorist that crashed the planes on 9/11, how is it that they have their photos and know their voices to be able to put their photos with their voices when they play the transcripts?

26. but they had their photos just after it happened. I mean, I have always
been of the simple opinion that the only people that we know for certain were responsible for 9/11 are those that died in the crashes.

Most of those killed in the planes were more or less cremated, not a whole lot of remains to test and those little bit of dust and bone bits that may have remained before the collapse of the buildings were really rendered to nothing after the collapse.

How do they know terrorist A was flying and B was talking or vice a versa? I'm just curious.

9. How tragic. How sad his family must feel right now.
I've read several posts that have basically dismissed the death of That Guy as Bush Propaganda. Can some people here really not set aside their poltics and grieve for this man's family? Can anyone imagine what it must be like for these people to know that their husband and father was just murdered in cold blood?

Some days I really am ashamed of many of the people that post here. I don't want to name any names, but some of you are just sick. The same thing happened after Reagan died. There was an almost celebratory mood in some of the treads here that made me sick to my stomach. I would like to think that as liberals we can recognize the tragedy in ANY death, and not immediately resort to partisan rhetoric. I'll be the first to admit that I engage in a lot partisan rhetoric on this board, but there are times when everyone, on both sides of the political fence, should just shut the fuck up and allow a family to grieve the loss of a loved one.

Sorry if this sounds too "preachy", but some posts I've read since That Guy's murder have made me ashamed to affiliate myself with some people on this board. One thread in particular was taken down, thankfully, but I still needed to get this off my chest. Thanks.

27. Something seriously stinks about this.
I don't know what's really going on, but there are way too many holes in the story, and you can damned well bet that what we're hearing is not the reality of what happened.
