Kay Maxwell, opponent of voter-verified paper ballots, will remain the leader of the League of Women Voters.

Does anyone know what happened?

1. They switched their position
have gone to the right side. Decided the evidence was overwhelming after half the members threatened to quit.

3. I was there
No one ran against her, but 2 members did run for the board. These members lost and the anointed slate won. I don't have any idea where the poster got the idea that half threatened to quit. However, about 90% voted to go to a neutral position based on the principle of a secure, recountable election.
