Get this: Citizen's United anti-Clinton ad to run this Sunday on CBS
And this is the same Sunday that 60 Minutes is running the Clinton interview.

Would these people please just shut the fuck up???

CBS to air new "anti-Clinton ad"?

Citizens United ad would apparently violate CBS's stated policy not to run "advocacy" ads on "controversial issues of public importance"

CBS is apparently set to run a new TV advertisement attacking former President Bill Clinton that appears to violate the network's stated prohibition on "advocacy" ads that deal with "controversial issues of public importance." Under the headline "Citizens United Launches New Anti-Clinton Ad Campaign to Air during '60 Minutes' Interview," Citizens United (led by David N. Bossie) announced on its website the new ad is to air during Clinton's June 20 appearance on CBS's news program 60 Minutes. The self-described "advocacy" group explained, "Amidst the hype surrounding the release of former President Clinton's new book, 'My Life', Citizens United sets the record straight by exposing the real legacy President Bill Clinton left for America."

3. The hate levels of these people are extraordianary.
To what lengths will they go? Nothing Clinton ever did justifies this level of hate. It's unreal. They must spend many, many sleepless nights.

7. David Bossie is a notorious Clinton-hater
he was up to his eyeballs in the Arkansas Project. I mean, the guy's not even running for anything, and they've come up with an ad against him? Some people need to get a life.

11. "The Hunting of an Ex-president"
This ad just confirms what we already know, they just are there to heckle. The same crap is being done with the Clinton Library. This is just more hunting of The President.

i've seen the ad, and while blaming clinton for ALL the terrorism we face today, they also say that only a "true leader" like bush can fight the war.

it's disgusting. it really is.

9. That is an easy question to answer.
While he's no longer in power, it's not because they took him out. He served out his term well and with dignity, and they are ENRAGED that they were unable to take him down. It's personal, and totally based on emotion. The hatred of their failure forces them to continue, even though there is little or no strategic value.

People should email CBS. I did. If they do run these ads, they should
get their asses kick six ways from Sunday!

14. Maybe Clinton is still the President.
Since there hasn't been an elected President in office since 1/20/01, doesn't that make Clinton still the President by default? Maybe that's why the 'Pukes can't leave him alone?

15. Text of my comments to CBS

It has come to my attention that CBS intends to run an Anti-Bill Clinton advertisement for the group "Citizens United" during Former President Clinton's June 20th Appearance on 60 Minutes. I am well aware of CBS's stated policy of not running "Issue Ads", due to the controversy regarding your -what I believe to have been wrong- decision not to run a Moveon.org ad critical of George Bush during the Superbowl. I believe, however, that if you express publicly that you have such a policy, you need to apply it fairly and equally. There is absolutely no way that the Citizens United Clinton Ad is in any way, shape, or form less of an "advocacy" ad than the moveon piece regarding the deficit. I find it incredibly distressing that CBS continues to pick and choose which political viewpoints it feels it should surpress, particularly in an election year. I don't know who, or what, you think you are serving by your selective application of these "policies", but they are not the causes of free discourse and democratic dialogue. Until CBS displays a greater respect for fair play on the political playing field, I will be forced to boycott your network and will urge everyone I know to do the same. Thank you for your time.

17. I hope this backfires
Just like the foaming-at-the-mouth hatred for him over his escapades with Monica did.

People know. I think this will only work on those that already have that irrational hatred of Clinton. Seems to me any moderate or apolotical person will realize he *stopped* terrorist attacks, and that they had *GOOD jobs* while he was in office.

*sigh* Much as I didn't like him then, and much as I don't want to like him now... I really do. I miss him more every time bush delivers another embarassing performance.

I was thinking, since the Superbowl was months ago, that this one was getting a little too dated.

Guess not.

20. Jealousy. Pea Green Jealousy.
These washed up sad sacks aren't fit to wipe Clinton's ass. They are jealous of him because America LOVED the man. He was human, he was sympathetic to people, he was charismatic. He brought prosperity and he was a danger to the right wing's reach for power. A la the 8 year long witch hunt we know as the Clinton years.

For the love of GOD he was on the streets of New York September 11, 2001 comforting people! Where was Shrub? Pissing his pants and flying all over the country hiding. Where was Cheney? His undisclosed location. And there was Bill Clinton, on the street comforting people and being there for him.

Their little puppet the Shrub is inhumane, unsympathetic, and has all the charisma of a turnip. Shrub can swaggar, bully, fuss, lie, cheat and steal ad infinitum. He could wear his flight suit and land on aircraft carriers once an hour every day for the next five months, but he will never be more than a shadow of the Big Dog. And he knows it. And these little wimpy snots like Bossie know it.

21. WHERE THE HELL WERE THE ANTI-REAGAN ADS?
This country's bought'n'sold media disgusts me more and more with its sheer one-sidedness.

And while some newspapers and news outlets do show some signs of unbiased reporting, it somehow gets forgotten.

22. Right Here Hypnotoad!
Watch my latest flash movie called "Mourning FOR America"

It compares Bush with Reagan (who doesn't even measure up to the 'gipper') and then shows people exactly how the "Reagan Revolution" screwed the whole country over and what it really did to our nation.
