The Chickens came home (to SA) to roost
For years the Saudis supported terrors and unrest in surrounding countries - mostly the Palestinians - to deflect any unrest in their own country. All of a sudden they find themselves with terror activities on their own land.

And... I could not help noticing that the reason there are not beheaded bodies in Israel and in the occupied territories is because Israel DOES acknowledge the presence of terror and does take steps to combat it in any way necessary.

For anyone to support any terror group - in Japan, in Indonesia, Peru, Northern Ireland or Israel - is to embark on a voyage that will end in a black hole.

And.. please, let's not use this horror, after the brutal murder of Berg = as means to attack Bush. We have plenty of means to remove him from office. These acts of terror would have taken place under a Gore administration and will under Kerry. Al Qaeda wants to remove Western presence from Saudi Arabia - at least this is what it wants now. Is there anyone here who is so certain that President Gore, or President Kerry, or even President Nader or Dean would do so?

1. Israel...no Israeli beheaded bodies...LOTS OF INNOCENT Palestinians
dead, injured, poor, destitute, angry... NOT A GREAT EXAMPLE, IMHO unless only Israeli lives count.

3. And a lot of hope and economic growth that vanished
in 2000 when Arafat decided to stroke these kind of resentment and anger. There were many Palestinians who came to the U.S. and who were ready to move back, to start new businesses, and all vanished.

I did not mean for this to be a debate on IP - I know that this is against the rules, just an example that when one gives in to terrorists - any terrorists regardless of the cause - one starts a road that one never knows where it will end.

2. The problem is Bush is using Sharon's tactics.. which inflame the situation
Edited on Sat Jun-19-04 10:44 AM by sam sarrha
Last year nearly 1000 children between the age of 5 and 16 were killed by Israeli soldiers, many of them shot in the temple with a rubber bullet..some with not much rubber, a flat temple head shot is the only way to kill a child with a rubber bullet. I saw video footage of and Israeli soldier sniper being directed over a radio to apparently shoot selected children throwing rocks at a distance apparently 200 or 300 yards with a heavy caliber long barrel rifle with a HUGE scope, and a small child went down, now all his brothers, uncles, father, friends, relatives and fellow mosque members have a reasion to become "Terrorists".....Also over 9000 adults were killed by Sharon's approach to resolving the Revenge mentality of the opposition. Which i can only believe is to perpetuate the violence to justify the land grabbing by the Zionists that believe that only they, under gods will and direction, can live there. the land grab is against UN directives of occupying land taken in war.

it seems that George was told by god to go set up a utopia in Iraq. The NEOCON's are refereed to as the 'Utopians' by the military. that is why *ush resists changing his plan for Iraq.. it isn't his.. it is gods. what a nut case.

If one were to take an 'Objective' overview.. there is 'Terrorism' being done on both sides in Iraq. Thousands of civilians have been killed by US chasing the "Terrorists"... but the mother holding her dead children, or the husband seeing his house hit and entire family killed by a "Stray" Tank round.. has a difficult time writing them off as "Collateral Damage". As does the entire community.. and the situation is used by "Terrorists" to inflame the situation.
