Some short ditties I wrote awhile ago.






The snake is not a symbol of the devil.

Lotsa folks confuse the snake symbology
with the devil in the Christian version of the
Garden of Eden story.

In 8 years we almost climbed out of a hole.
Now we are twice as deep as we were before.
Lieing to you about the BIG things is now the goal.
Now you know that you are the corporate whore.

Laws are bought with corporate hype.
The big dogs honor money.
The pious who cheat you of $ and life
believe "in God we trust" is funny.

It's treason to trade self evident truth for cash.
Sadly CEO looters and sleeping non voters feel no shame.
The Bill of Rights have turned to ash.
while the young die for the patriot game.



UNIMPORTANT


Tensions were running high when the 10 meter asteroid
struck west of Beijing
and registered 6 on the Richter scale
China armed its nuclear weapons
for an enemy yet unknown.
They searched for the attacker to no avail
The Chinese sent an urgent message to the White House:
"Do you know who warranted this attack?"

President Bush responded:

"make no mistake about it,
this is a surprise attack to us,
your message is important to us, ahh...That is all.
Oh wait, you will get everything the US has to offer
in assistance, that is all"

Within fifteen minutes China launched with grim intent
It was clear to them by our reply:

"Make no mistake about it.
This is our surprise attack.
To us your message is impotent to USA,
that is all , oh you wait,
you will get everything the the US has to offer,
in this instance... THAT IS ALL"

Within minutes the staff of the US homeland security was safely deep underground.

Not everyone is a poet, artist, writer and musician of great works.
IS THAT AS IT SHOULD BE?
Not everyone is a merchant of death, soldier or a weapon inventor.

Not everyone cares our troops don't defend our shores anymore
but protect products and multinational corporations that sell them.
THAT IS BUT SHOULDN'T BE
Not everyone will get a bio nano chip to control pain and continue
to fight up to 7 days without sleep under the control of command.

Not everyone can afford justice like those who make laws to steal.

Not everyone would kill a man of peace to promote wars for profit.

Not everyone can own the media to demonize anyone they please.

Not everyone can buy, cheat and steal an election from the people.

Not everyone will claim God and patriotism belong to them alone.

But a poet, artist, writer and musician, should write what could be.

Come and listen to a story bout a man named Jeb
He helped ta throw elections so his bro could get ahead
Grandpa made a fortune off the Nazis and was sued
but now they make their money offa bubbilin crude.
(Oil that is...Iraqi tea...black gold.)

The first thang ya know Jeb's dads a millionaire
He bought his kids some schoolin but the kids just didn't care
The oldest brother Neil ripped off Silverado Bank
The middle brother George drank so much that he stank.
(booze that is...hooch, with a cocaine chaser.)

Ol dad became the president of the United States.
The CIA made sure he was the perfect candidate.
He had others do his lyin and we had a couple wars.
But he lost the next election and he really was sore.
(Pissed that is...)

Jeb was given Florida, a graduation gift.
He was groomed ta be the Prez but there's an unexpected shift.
Somehow George did better on the dusty campaign trail.
George could not speak clearly so they thought he would fail.
(Like in Congress, the oil biz and National Guard.)

To win a tough election they all knew just what to do.
They changed a lot of ballots of good folks like me and you.
No longer a contender poor Jeb took one for the team.
Like all the rest of us he really got reamed.
(F'd that is...screwed, trapped in the family business of blood money and oil. )

You won't believe
whats in Washington DC
home of the red white and blue
There are no angels or devils
or liars with shovels
its just people like me or you.

with vendettas as dark as a whore.

and luck of good health

If you had their money
dipped in tax honey
you'd do the same and more.
First thing you need
is to satisfy greed
Its the power and cash you adore.
So you give some to friends
who you hope in the end
won't try to steal back whats yours.
Your friends need their favors
in green dollar flavors
or armies to capture yet more.
Right now they're all spoiled
with all of that oil
You've seen their glee on TV
So lets all take a pause

In memory of our tin foil wrapped cheese at the airport:


What a friend we have in cheeses
Chedder munster and Guryere
But what a hassle tis to carry
past security at US Air.

O what peace we often forfeit
O what needless pain we bear
All because we carried cheeses
on board a flight of US Air.

We were fondled and then X-rayed
Because of troubles in the air
The screener had tremendous courage
to plunge their hands in underwear.

Did we seem a fiend unfaithful
who would bomb a plane without a care
Jesus is our cheese a weakness
in security at US Air.


Are we weak from ol bin Laden
cumbered with a load of care.
The guards ran to seek some refuge
from tin wrapped cheese we had to share.


Do the guards despise and forsake you?
at air ports everywhere
They are armed and may likely shoot you
if they find some cheese in there.


By the time this made the papers
the head line was in total error.
Bomb found: praise and endless worship
for the guards who cut the cheese at US Air.
