So, is there a body or not?
Edited on Sat Jun-19-04 07:04 PM by GeorgeHayduke
While I was taking a break from homework I visited MSNBC.com and took the "Saudi Al-Quida buisiness" bait.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/5196406/

Re: the beheading of whomever yesterday and thismorning's killing of the "bad guys", I am more than a little confused about the story MSNBC has posted. here is why:

+++
"The body of Abdulaziz al-Moqrin, Saudi Arabia's most-wanted terrorist suspect, who was reportedly killed in a firefight after police tracked down the car that dumped the body of an American hostage, is seen in a photo taken from Saudi Arabia..."
+++

and three paragrphs later:

+++
"Saudi officials said Johnson’s beheaded corpse still has not been found, contradicting earlier reports that it was dumped outside the capital, Riyadh."
+++

So, okay, whos body was dumped out of the car, or is the dead bad-guy the blacksmith from down the street? :wtf: Im just trying to avoid the tinfoil hat arena.

...during Hardball it was stated that Abdulaziz was in the process of dumping the body when the encounter with authorities occurred.

4. I'm confused now "Big time"
I thought that the "Bad guy" was killed in a shootout during the disposal. So now they are saying they were killed an a car accident and they haven't found Mr. Johnson's body yet?

5. okay, so they saw they guy
dump the body, then they lost the body? didnt they see where the body was dropped?

Perhaps im assuming too much, but it makes sense to me that if youre sophisticated enough to track the car to an individual, you would also be sophisticated enough to not lose the body that you saw being dumped.

:shrug:

I can see that this might be an editorial mistake though.

8. The appearence of quick "justice"
is probably what we really have. The royal house of Saudi is still cligning to a working relationship with the US despite all the highjackers being Saudi.

The Bush/binLaden Carlyle Group seems to have more clout than the State dept.
