Poll question: Election 2004: Referendum on fascism?
The more bad news that comes out for Bush, the higher his poll numbers seem to bump. If I presented the choice "Kerry will win in a landslide", everyone would want to check that, but leaving him out of this, why do 50% of Americans still support Bush?

1. americans are selfish nincompoops
who react versus reason and justify every one of their self-indulgent acts by denying the truth. Duers, progressives and artists exempted, of course.

5. i am a nationalist
i don't care if the war is 'justified' or not, i am against it because i truly believe that it hurt our country, strengthens terrorism, and is doing more harm than good to our country.

6. Yes, it is a referendum on fascism.
But the vast majority of Americans do not understand that. Since for the most part they aren't directly effected yet, they haven't considered the implications of what is going on.

A majority still believes Saddam Hussein was involved with 9-11 and that Americans only abused prisoners but didn't torture them. It doesn't look good for the anti-fascists.
