Clenis is stealing oxygen, both here and in the media,
doing it at entirely the wrong time, and with typical naval-gazing elan. He was a great preznit, but now his narcissism has fully bloomed.

Turn Clinton off.

We have a president to elect.

1. nah, he's a reminder of the good times we had under a
Dem prez and the big book push will be over just in time for the conventions.

Bill is a perfect foil to the Reagan love fest

19. Right. Clinton will give Kerry a boost like Reagan gave * a boost.
the whore media knows it. But they are trying to brainwash the American lemmings into believing otherwise.

2. This too shall pass
Edited on Sun Jun-20-04 09:30 AM by Spinzonner
Besides its a pleasant diversion from the endless, incessant VP speculation.

And Kerry's not really doing all that much while waiting for the convention and letting the bad news and (future) indictments rain in on the administration.

3. Clinton is
a distraction from very heavy issues not currently being covered adequately in the media. Unwelcome IMO.

At least he didn't do it in September.

5. Actually this is a perfect time for the BigDog his approval ratings are up
The people trust Clinton about the economy. Contrast and compare the economies of Clinton and Bush.
Especially if the Plame indictments are coming. It will be a perfect opportunity to contrast and compare the treatment Clinton got and what Bush is entitled to and actually gets.

6. I am happy to see Clinton.
He will campaign for Kerry while he is on his book tour, and there isn't anything wrong with that!

It is only temporary anyway. Book tours gererally don't last for an entire summer!

Clinton will make the base feel warm and cozy. I want warm and cozy after 3 years of Bush.

12. But he has stated that he will do everything he can to help Kerry
Edited on Sun Jun-20-04 09:42 AM by lovedems
and present a case as to why he needs to be elected. Why is that a bad thing? Clinton can motivate the base unlike any other democrat and he can say things that Kerry can't. This is all good for Kerry if you ask me.

Edited to add: I just Clinton and Kerry standing next to each other on CNN (from an event awhile back) and when those men stand side by side I see confident, statuesque, intelligent leaders. It is a great sight compared to the short, swaggering, smirking chimp we have today.

You are indeed not correct. People are going to finally see that the entire sorry investigation of blow jobs and subsequent impeachment episode was nothing but a huge cluster fuck.

11. Wake me when this happens
What I'm seeing is that he got a blowjob because he could (good enough reason, but that's another room)

That he had to sleep on the couch

That he supports GWB's Iraq mess

That he got pissed off at some British interviewer

8. The media would just cover some other story like sharks, OJ...
anniversary, etc, if Clinton wasn't on and Clinton does remind people that they had a president that could communicate and, given his numbers are still high, was a good president.

15. I don't see it, those that are disenchanted with bush are able to...
see the damage he is doing and that has nothing to do with Clinton. I give them more credit than that, they know the real issues and it is not Clinton or his book. As for taking the focus off Kerry, the media will not focus on Kerry no matter what, we have seen that already.

10. Do you think that...
Big Doggie did not discuss this with Kerry and his people? The Acknowledged Master of the political chess move that rips the guts out of the opponents? The guy who gets rid of more real political acumen in a healthy morning turd than exists in the whole repuke party?

on Al Qaeda/Iraq.

And on everything else.

Now we're back to blowjob fatigue.

as well as pro war dems for a bad decision.

You mean like Kerry?

Since I want Kerry to win I want cover for the pro-war Dems.

21. I want Kerry to win too
and the more the war becomes unpopular, where will this leave him? Will he be decribed as a bush lite? Will more people say there is little or no difference between the political parties? Honesty wins in the long run. Best Kerry stay silent.

18. Actually this pushes Bush off the news....
...Bush is trying to spin the economy his way, so Clinton coming back takes the spotlite away from that.

Clinton will piss off the GOP/Conservative firebreathers, but he is liked by alot of other folks, so Clinton being back is good media for the Democrats.

23. Why don't we wait and see how Clinton actually affects the race before....
...passing judgement?

Besides, there is plenty of time between now and the elections for additional leaks to occur, as well as a number of highly anticipated CRIMINAL indictments against one or more of the top NeoCons.

I guarantee you that when those CRIMINAL indictments hit the press, and they will hit the press big-time, there will be nothing the NeoCons can do to put that genie back in the bottle.

It's going to help Kerry.
