Guess not everyone is that stupid.

I'm sure the 14% came from 'freeping the poll'.

8. I don't know how to answer this one? Yes, to prove the media whores
are corrupt? Or No, to prove some Americans aren't stupid? I don't think I'm going to vote on this one.

23. The huge majority of Internet polls I see skew more Dem/Lib than
their print counterparts. This is particularly true when you see a major outlet like MSNBC/Newsweek/Time have the same poll on their site and their magazine, there is often a HUGE difference (like 20% point swing our way) in results.

Even though the internet polls are "unscientific", the results are so consistently like this that it suggests to me that internet news readers/poll takers skew much more heavily Dem/Liberal as a demographic compared to the usual phone polling samples. This may not always be true, and I think the Dems should research the topic and figure out a way to best take advantage while this is the case.

28. Most used to always be pro-Bush/right leaning. Either we've taken over
or those people have changed their minds dramatically. Of course, if these people have been reading articles from the internet - maybe THAT has swayed them.

21. Okay, this is weird. There's another poll on the board that says 69%
of Americans do believe this.

Just more proof that polls are worthless. They can be slanted anyway they pollster wants just by who they ask. And Blitzer is a fool to keep asking the question unless he's doing it until he gets the frigging answer he wants (which is the only reason I can figure this poll is run three times a week).

24. Leslie's got Sy Hersh on
Leslie asked if he had anything new to report on the prison abuse.
Hersh said yes and no...he has stuff to report, but he'll do it in New Yorker magazine. He said the story's in "how high up this goes", and once he's fact-checked everything he'll report it.

Love ya, Sy!! :bounce:
