The hatred of the right wing for MM has reached unbelievable proportions. Seriously, I've never seen anything quite like it.

Here's one freeptard post (there's many more like it). I don't know what he's getting at exactly, but it's not hard to read between the lines.

In all this time I have never posted about Moore. It has been a struggle to stay silent, but there are things one simply cannot publish.

interview that he had bodyguards, so I hope he stays safe. It does seem, from what he said, that he is aware of the feelings he is generating.

While Moore should be concerned to a degree, most of these threats come from windbags with a low self esteem and are benign.

When I was protesting against the Iraq war back in 2002, when there were only a couple dozen of us marching through the French Quarter, we got lots of threats from tourists (portly, white middle-age republicans) that called us traitors and threw beer cans at us. I would either be at the back or the front of the group, and would start goose stepping with my right arm in the air, shouting "heil Hitler heil Bush!" This is when the beer cans would fly. Ha ha ha!
