Hilarious Bush* campaign slogan parodies!

stumbled across this:

which aparently was Ann Marie Cox and friends using the Bush*/Cheney election site for pranks in March of 2004. Finally the morAns at B*/C caught on but, before they did, some absolutely hilarious campaign slogans were coined and added to their unattractive bumpersticker design. Someone at NYU has saved them with a great soundtrack clip and if you have the ability to watch a little flash movie of them, you will be mightily entertained!

I have seen these and thought them hilarious, but you know what?

MOST PEOPLE DON'T READ THE SECOND LINE.

You post one of these things, and the IRONY is LOST on most people.

We live in an MTV world. No attention span.

You post one of these signs, then five minutes later conduct a poll of people who walked by, I GUARANTEE that Bush/Cheney is on their minds.... and NOT in an IRONIC way.

You think, it's funny, and I think it's funny... hell, it IS funny... but most people think in slogans.
