I'd appreciate serious suggestions.....
I have an opportunity to talk to the press secretary for Charles Rangel this week, about possibly doing an interview with the Congressman. I live in rural, republican upstate New York. However, there are a good many people who are very unhappy with the current president and governor. I would appreciate any serious suggestions for questions for an interview that may appear in several area newspapers. Obvious questions include the war(s); the draft; and the Kerry campaign. I'd like your thoughts...... Thanks!

9. THE DRAFT - HE IS GIVING THE ADMINSTRATION BIPARTISAN COVER TO DO IT!!!!
WHY? WHY? WHY?

When Bush* wants to push the draft through, probably after the election, but possibly
after a MIHOP event, he will capitalize on the fact that this bill was introduced by Democrats
and run with it. It will be much harder to stop this from happening with Democrats actually supporting the bill.

Bush* would abuse this authority as shamelessly as he has abused every other he has bee given!

There will be no limit to Bush's ambitions if he has an unlimited source of cannon fodder!!
He will be invading every country in sight.

The only thing stopping him from invading Syria or Iran now is a lack of troops.

Mr. Rangel should not be under any illusion that a draft could be "fair".
Even if the requirement for service is "universal", the privileged will always get into
champagne units as did our current pResident. Also, given the state of medical
care in this country, the poor have more difficulty substantiating any medical condition
that should preclude military service. Yet forcing even the disabled to serve is not
fair either. There is no such thing as a fair draft.

NO DRAFT! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

3. Could you ask
When are Democrats going to be proud to wear the word liberal? Why do they let themselves run away from it and deny it? We should be make the Consevatives shrink in fear when we call them Conservatives.

4. Does He Feel.....
That America has been maneuvered into a war by lies and deception? And what will he do to bring an end to the Iraqi quagmire and to bring our troops home?
What is his position on our National Parks, and our environment?

8. BBV
Ya gotta get him thinking about how the vote stealing bastards want to take away the only process we as citizens can use to end the pitiful and sorry political careers of the anti-democratic, fascist, neo-nazi, turd blossoms who deny health care to the children and fight to take away old-folks homes to pay a highly inflated hospital bill that was caused by environmental degradation such as polluted air and water which all of us absolutely need to have if we are ever going to be a strong healthy society which can vote for the correct leadership that can once again make America the land of the Free and the home of the Brave!

BBV.

10. I like your message.
I might word it in a slightly different way, but I want to give the far-left a plug ..... I admire much of Rangel's work, but his ideas on a draft scare the crap out of me. So I want to address this in a way that reaches the young people, be they in college or not, who need to register to vote. I think it is important in small town newspapers across the country for people like us -- the DUers -- to participate in grass roots media .... to show we are capable of being thoughtful and reasonable.

Please keep the ideas coming! Thanks!
