All-Star cast for Luntz bash

The invitations are in the mail — the e-mail, that is — and if you haven’t gotten one, you’re probably out of luck. It’s GOP pollster Frank Luntz’s fifth annual Baseball All-Star Party at his palatial home in McLean, Va., on July 13.

Luntz has already e-mailed 770 invitations, which in addition to those he’s issued verbally could make things a bit crowded around his pool and in front of the huge TV in his living room, even with 116 people declining as of Monday.

Among the 66 people who’ve already accepted are 10 members of the House and several senators, including Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio), who is bringing a date and promises a “Big Announcement,” according to a list of the top 10 reasons to attend that is attached to the invitation.
