How much does a Korean beheading interest the US press?
The news is just two hours old. What are the cable news companies covering at this moment?

FOX discussing Florida growers have developed a low-carb potato, and "SkinnerVille" whatever that is is doing some taste test on cookies and that the pastry chef has resigned from the White House. Very light talk....

CNN discussing Clinton selling his book and how conservatives might be energized by the book tour. Woodruff adds her two cents and talks to Vernon Jordan about how he turned Clinton down to be A.G. and that the NYT called it a sloppy, self-indulgent book....

MSNBC discusses Wal-Mart and trial of Eric Rudolph....quickly on to Scott Peterson trial and what jurors are hearing today...

2. The S. Korean beheading may not be important
But:

"CNN discussing Clinton selling his book and how conservatives might be energized by the book tour."

Are Republicans in that big a funk that only Clinton and is golden member can save them from a coma. Pity.

3. Your post says it all.
He's Korean and you're talking about U.S. news sources. Why does the U.S. population even care?

Sad but true.

4. You didn't list any press.
Cable news is bullshit. No one watches. They are in millions of homes but on their best huff&puff day only about 3 million were watching. If you want to hear breaking news go elsewhere. Wire services,ABC Radio, etc.

5. I love those brave bastards who won't show their faces!
Gutless motherfuckers! I guess it takes a really brave soul to put on a hood for the camera and hack a hostage's head off. Bastards.

7. But I heard that R from California debate Mario...
on Blitzkrieg's show. And the first thing out of R's mouth was "I'd like to send my thoughts and prayers to the South Korean family of the hostage murdered."

Yet, he didn't say a damn thing about thoughts and prayers to the what? 3 American soldiers who died in Iraq today!! Why does a SK contractor rate a higher priority of sympathy than our own soldier citizens?
