My God! I watched part of Hannity and Colmes for the FIRST time
in my life... Correction... the last time in my life...EEEWWWW

Some people had said that Hannity was good looking....EEEWWWWWW

He had Dick the Morris....EEEEWWW

He had Bob Beckel on... he did not let Hannity get away with as much as he apparently.
Colmes is helping Hannity against Bob Beckel....EEEEWWWW

I am sorry, but this is TOO MUCH FOR ME.

Hannity is saying that Clinton lied under oath... I wonder what he will say about Ashcroft....

He is going to have Reagan's son... Michael of course.
And... Zell Miller.
And I saw the add with Reagan with the wall and Bush with the WTC!!!
ABSOLUTELY NAUSEATING. No wonder repugs are so crooked and stupid.
Thanks for letting me vent. And declare Fox a piece of DANGEROUS CRAP.

1. It sounds really bad...off the wall. I've not watched Fox so don't know
Edited on Tue Jun-22-04 08:29 PM by KoKo01
who Hannity and Colmes are except from other DU'ers reports. I remember Bob Bechtel from old days when there were discussion shows and he was always good at handling the "Wingers."

It's all changed I guess..sounds dreadful, and Zell Miller...Yetch! And pounding on Clinton again?

I don't know why DU'ers whatch Fox unless they like misery. I don't ever hear anything good just people angry and upset. Who needs that...there's enough to get upset about on CNN/MSRNC that I can't understand the Fox watchers.

Ugh. :-(

16. I watched because I wanted to see this tape of clinton losing
his temper with the bbc reporter. yeah he was pissed but of course in freeper land his a mad man totally out of control. I'm pretty sure this doesn't apply to bush like the time he got pissed at the reporter for calling him sir, and not "MR. PRESIDENT"

I hope kerry doesn't think the treatment clinton got (and is still getting) is only for clinton. if he wins, he's going to get the same deal.

2. Dick Morris is a sleazy opportunist.
Edited on Tue Jun-22-04 08:41 PM by lovedems
He is a liar. He has decided to tell all about Clinton because he is an opportunist. I can't stand that guy!

He is a perfect example of what a republican friend is like.

Look what mediamatters.org said about his Hillary book. He is a liar!

and here http://mediamatters.org/items/200405040006

The second link is the better one!

Edited to add: Faux (I believe Hannity only) is the only news station that will give him time. You will see the reason for that when you check out MM.

7. I was watching Hannity and Colmes one night when
he was on. Hannity asked him if he had voted for Bush and he stated "No, I voted for Gore." Hannity was in shock because of the way Morrison trashes Clinton. That man would call Clinton and let his prostitutes sit on the phone and listen to what the Prez had to say to him.

15. Now Michael "thank God my last name is Reagan" is on . . .
Wonder how he feels about the Freepers and how they are trashing his stepmother and half brothers and sisters?

Michael Reagan's mother was Jane Wyman. Not his birth mother but adoptive; however, they never treated him any different and they never should have. Also, Maureen was Jane and Ron's daughter.

When Reagan started his affair with Nancy while still being married to Wyman, he sure wasn't around much for those kids. Then when he married Nancy, whenever Michael and Maureen came over on the weekends, Nancy had them stay in the guest house. I laugh at how Michael Reagan tries to act like he was so close to his father. He has used that name to get where he is at today and that is sickening. Right now on H&C he is talking "ohhhh life perfect, my dad, my dad. My dad was so big. I looked for those special moments." (GAG).

Nancy never accepted Michael or Maureen until Reagan's later years. Until Maureen died from cancer before her father, she was the only one reported to be helping Nancy with the ex-President.

If you crossed Sean Hannity with Ann Coulter . . . the antichrist would be born. They both have the same type of morals when it comes to their politics. They will lie, twist the facts, get on the air waves and call people names, cut people off and laugh at people that disagree with them.

I would love to see Hannity and Randi talk (debate). Hannity would not be able to hold his own.

One other thing. I emailed the show a long time and asked Colmes if he was just showing up to get paid. He is pitiful as a representative of the Democratic Party.

I've done gave myself a headache (blah)

20. Regarding Repug "Family Values"
"Whoever started this family values stuff sure never met my family, with values like secret daytime drinking, beating the stepkids and wrecking the car and saying my sister did it."

3. My view
I like to watch a bit of each network to get a feel for whats going on but yea fox is blatantly biased. However is was quite genius to create a conservative news network. Obivously the media has a slight liberal bias and you have a large percentage of the population screaming at their TV's. So creating a succesful conservative network would have been simply because you had the built in audience already. Don't ignore it because you disagree with it.

5. I cannot watch it. I will let other DUers suffer and report whenever they
have the stomach for it. It is too stupid to dedicate one minute of my time to it. Sorry.

9. Why do you feel the media has a "slight" liberal bias? Lost147 if you
read here on DU for awhile you'll find the "media" has anything BUT a "slight" liberal bias. I wonder what you've seen that gives you that impression? :eyes:

10. IMO, Faux Has Peaked and Will Go Down With Bush and the Neocons

Faux is so skewed to the right that it will implode when Bush and the neocons implode. Pretty soon no democrat will appear on Faux because they do not have to.

Pure Genius.

11. No, I ignore it because they are LIARS
I watched it for a while just to see what was going on -- and I found our right away. Propaganda and lies. FoxNews is America's "Pravda."

And, friend, if you think there's even a slight liberal bias to the media, you must be listening to Limbaugh.

Read "The Myth of the Liberal Media" by Bill Press. Or, just check out mediamatters.org. The only liberal bias I find on TV is Comedy Central. Thank God for Jon Stewart!!!

14. yesterday
yesterday I saw about 2-3 minutes of it. They were showing Iraqis being tortured under Saddam's regime. Then Hannity had the GALL to say, "well all I saw of what we did- it was just panties on the head and stuff."

I have never been so OUTRAGED in my life! I think I burst a blood vessel-my chest has been hurting all day. When they were voting on whether to show the other pictures, my thought was no. I mean, if I was raped, I would not want it displayed on the evening news. I have now changed my mind, because the press is literally acting like people are too stupid to remember that a month ago, they voted not to release the photos. Everyone said they would come out anyway, but I haven't seen any new photos in weeks.

17. I just figured...
there has to be some kind of liberal bias because you have all the conservatives foam at the mouth when your news source is anything but Fox in a debate. Sure most of fox can be a lot of bullshit, but not everything on an entire network can be lies (well I guess it might be an exception). I figure know your rival not just your allies.
