Nader Again Refuses Dems' Request He Quit :^(
I get his point, I really do. But I wish he would help get * out instead.

********************************************************************

WASHINGTON (AP) - Ralph Nader had a testy meeting Tuesday with black members of Congress and rejected their request that he quit the presidential race. At the same time, Arizona Democrats prepared to challenge Nader's qualifications to appear on that state's ballot as an independent candidate.

The developments reflect Democrats' increasing frustration with Nader and his potential to woo liberal votes away from John Kerry, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee.

Shouts could be heard from inside the meeting in the basement of the U.S. Capitol with more than a dozen Congressional Black Caucus members, including Nader's voice, in what proved to be a rancorous session. One female shouted, "You can't win," to which Nader shot back an inaudible response.

Some lawmakers stormed out of the meeting for a House vote and didn't return.

3. I agree, but believe if Nader is still in by the debates
Kerry should insist that Nader be part of the debates. It will show that Kerry is not afraid to debate anyone, and might attract Nader supporters...

8. No, he'll tell far-reaching lies...
...just like he is now.

Like:

- There is little difference between the two parties (wtf?).
- He'll take more votes from Bush* than Kerry (show me the poll Ralph).
- Gore would have started the Iraq war too (he was always against it).

I respect voters enough to let them not get exposed to these lies.

4. What was it Jon Stewert said about him last night?
"Ralph Nader: You'll Understand When He's Dead."

That made me laugh for some reason.

9. Ralph Nader is a sack of shit
He has undone all the good of his legacy. He will go down in history as a tantrum-throwing, hypocrite who cost America her democracy and actively helped to install a fascist dictator. No he's trying to make it 2 for 2. Way to go Ralph.

10. Maybe a better apprroach for dems would've been to say:
"Bring it on, Ralph! Kerry has more experience and will be a better president, and the American people will CHOOSE Kerry in droves,"

I'm not as worried about the Nader effect as the negative impression Dem pols BEGGING him to quit puts out. Looks like we're afraid to duke it out with nader.

Anyone know if the repukes asked Perot to quit?
