This is a great idea! Kos has picked out 8 important races that we can help out. If you contribute and add one cent to your total they'll know it came from a Kos blogger.

Here's what the blog says:

The dKos 8 list is complete. We're hitting leadership (DeLay, Blunt), we're hitting swing states (6 of 8), we're hitting top-tier races in Knowles, Stork, and Murphy. We're embracing family in Seemann and Newberry, the David vs. Goliaths in those two as well as Morrison. We're targeting races on the verge of being top-tier in Matsunaka and Farmer.

We're hitting south (TX), east (PA), southeast (FL), midwest (OH and MO), and west (CO and AK). We have two women, one Asian American, and one gay candidate. I tried to mix it up, and I hope I succeeded and there's at least one candidate amongst the bunch you feel comfortable helping out -- not just with money, but with time and suggestions. And positive vibes. Be really generous with the positive vibes.

We'll expand the list by two more in the coming months as we see the electoral picture shake out for an even 10 candidates by Election Day.

[Seemann For Congress]

1. It should be noted

that one of the Kos 8 is a former DUer, Jeff Seemann.

He was known around here as AWD. He announced his candidacy on DU and DUers have been a constant source of advice, support, and friendship to Jeff and his campaign.

Kos made an excellent choice when he selected Jeff, and we hope the entire blogosphere and internet community recognzies the passion and dedication fueling Jeff's campaign.

2. I first heard him on Majority Report

He's gotten a lot of help from DU and Kos and AAR listeners. He sounds like a great guy. Ohio will be better off when he wins his race.
