So FOX is running with the Moon Coronation story and guess what?
The Democrats are to blame!

Yep, the anchor-blonde must have said "Democratic congressmen" 10-15 times during the story.

Talk about predictable! No mention though that Moon is slightly to the right of Hitler. Or who he supports in US politics. Or what RW media he owns. Nope. Just Democrats Democrats Democrats!

5. So did the Washington Post
Made me sick, mentioned several Democrats by name, then one Republican. If memory serves, they didn't say his name.

I'll get a link if anyone's interested in reading this cr_p.

22. And African American ministers
Last paragraph. What kind of irony is that? Bush 41 worked for Moon (speaking engagements) and Moon pours millions into the GOP and who gets slimed?

7. If Zell Miller shows up
Then it's bi-partisan, and that means both democrats and republicans are equally at fault, and we shouldn't complain about it at all.

Deserves to get slimed in the media.

I hope the experience scars them for life.

9. Why were the Dems dumb enough to participate?
It never ceases to amaze me how politicians believe that crap like this doesn't come back to bite them in the ass.

I could expect the repugs to fawn all over the fascist god wannabee, but what the hell were Dems doing anywhere near the place?

11. The Dems were told that this was a ceremony to honor
peace activists.

The Moonie nonsense started after they left.

Having had some contact with the Moonies in their early days and subsequently, I know that they are past masters of deception. They set up innocent sounding organizations and seminars without disclosing sponsorship and then later brag about how many prominent people support them. They also recruit on college campuses by calling themselves "Bible study groups" or "Christian youth organizations" or "The Collegiate Association for the Research of Principles," which is supposedly a debating club.

They actually have a doctrine called "heavenly deception," meaning that it's okay to tell any lie or pull any scam as long as it advances the cause.

16. I would hope that there was some video
of this momentous event?

That would prove who did and who didn't hang around.

It would be nice to know who all the players are and how this travesty really came about.

If any dems were stupid enough to go along with this crap, they deserve to be voted out of office.

28. Article lists attendees
First, we're shown a rabbi blowing a ram's horn. Most Jews would hold off on this until the High Holy Days, but it probably counts if the Moshiach shows up in a federal office building at taxpayer expense. Then we see the man of the hour, Moon, chilling at a table at the Dirksen in a tuxedo, soaking all this up. He claps. He's having a ball.

Cut to the ritual. Eyes downcast, a man identified as Congressman Danny K. Davis (D-Ill.) is bringing a crown, atop a velvety purple cushion, to a figure who stands waiting austerely with his wife. Now Moon is wearing robes that Louis XIV would have appreciated. All of this has quickly been spliced into a promo reel by Moon's movement, which implies to its followers that the U.S. Congress itself has crowned the Washington Times owner.

But Section 9 of the Constitution forbids giving out titles of nobility, setting a certain tone that might have made the Congressional hosts shy about celebrating the coronation on their websites. They included conservatives, the traditional fans of Moon's newspaper: Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), Rep. Curt Weldon (R-PA.), Rep. Chris Cannon (R-Utah), Rep. Roscoe Bartlett (R-Md.) and Republican strategy god Charlie Black, whose PR firm represents Ahmed Chalabi’s Iraqi National Congress. But there were also liberal House Democrats like Sanford Bishop (D-Ga.) and Davis. Rep. Harold Ford (D-Tenn.) later told the Memphis Flyer that he'd been erroneously listed on the program, but had never heard of the event, which was sponsored by the Washington Times Foundation.

13. The key to any propoganda program...
Is to first accuse/insinuate that your opponent is guilty of the very thing in which you are actually guilty of.

The beauty in its simplicity and the first impression imprint, works every time.

The failure of Air America to do excellent proganda will spell its doom. All they do is respond to the lie and follow the trap of acting defensive in the face of Republican accusation.

I've said it before, but the truth is not enough.
Fighting fire with fire and using sex scandels and photos is finally bending things our way.

Meanwhile the Daily Show is the best thing on cable.
