I have health insurance but I haven't had my yearly check-up in two years and didn't go to the doc when I was really sick because of my deductible and co-pay. I bet a lot of people do the same and risk not detecting serious illnesses early enough for successful treatment.

I had to cancel some optional parts of my health insurance (vision/dental) because I couldn't afford it anymore.
