Nader *endorses* Kerry/Edwards?!
(just heard on the radio)

Nader says Edwards is best fit and would Kerry/Edwards would help the country.

Edwards best able to explain how our civil liberties are being destroyed by ShurbCo.

I'm confused??????

1. Nader is pretending his word is worth spit.
I think he needs a full mental and physical workup. Something is really wrong.

3. It's a trick! Don't vote for Kerry/Edwards if Nader says so.
What to do, Nader haters? What to do ...

Your heads must hurt.

4. I heard Edwards say once that he's know Nader for years.
Edited on Wed Jun-23-04 06:24 PM by AP
About two years ago I heard Nader say that Edwards's work as a lawyer was very commendable.

I was actually a little surprised that Nader waited this long to say nice things about Edwards again (and, incidentally, he said this the first time about two months ago).

6. Nader just wants publicity
If Kerry chooses Edwards, Nader can take credit

If Kerry doesn't choose Edwards, Nader will say that Kerry should have listened to him

Of course, Nader would have had some credibility if he had not just chosen his own VP. I didn't hear any Dems telling Nader whom he should choose

8. I am hoping that this is a way for Nader to bow out and save face
Senator Kerry has not attacked Nader and if Senator Kerry picks Senator Edwards as his running mate, then Nader may be able to drop out of the race and still claim that he had an impact.

10. he'll only leave when things get better...ru listening dems?
perot stopped vexing the republicans once that giant sucking sound (deficit) was stifled as it eventually was under clinton...the budget balancing sentiment was mainly republican...now we have nader talking about pulling out of iraq, green issues and some important stuff on MNCs, should be standard fare for any party representing the little man but it's coming more forcefully from without

14. Sounds Like BlackMail-Pick My Candidate Or I'll Play Spoiler
and the fact that Nader is touting Edwards should be a BIG FLASHING NEON SIGN TO STAY AWAY FROM EDWARDS.

Oh, that's right, Nader has Democrat' & America's best interests at heart.

17. I knew that was coming.
There is a big difference. Kerry was making the decisions, not nader or the pukes themselves.

21. I am not sure what I got.
I don't fault him for talking to McCain. I understand the problems, but that ticket led by 14 in the last poll I saw. That makes it worth entertaining. I think that Kerry has handled this perfectly.

:wtf:

Why does he even pretend to care who Kerry runs with?! If Kerry takes on Edwards, will Nader throw all his support behind them? What the frick is he up to? What is wrong with his mind?!
