I'm positive that an overwhelming consensus by DUers is they'd prfer somebody else, but I admit I could be wrong.

3. is this a vote for gephardt for vp or whether people will vote if gep is
vp ? gep is going to lose if it's a vote for those that support him for vp. but the numbers for whether one will still support the ticket with gephardt as vp may be different.

not that it matters much since kerry lost all du polls when asked who you want to win the primary.

15. That's not what this poll is about
It's a straight choice, if you had your choice, would Gep be Veep?

18. I sure didn't take it to mean a no vote meant you wouldn't vote
for Kerry. The VP slot is not that important.

Would a poll doing a straight up or down, 'Kerry for Pres?' be Kerry bashing?

11. Sudden obsession?? Remember the Rose Garden?
How about Iowa?

Nothing sudden or obsessive about it. Stick a fork in Dick he's done. And so's Kerry if he picks that backstabbing SOB.

5. Shoot me now
Do I really have to work for that ticket? Someone who voted for the war and someone who really enjoyed voting for the war? Once upon a time I liked Gephardt but I'm not sure he stands for anything anymore. ugh

I like Gep. I respect him. He's not who we need. We need Bubba-lite. We need Edwards.

22. Agreed. No hatred at all. It just really seems like the wrong choice.
I would like Edwards, Clark, Richardson, and many others would be fine.

What a bore ...

Bush and Cheney are MUCH more exciting ! ...

Exciting wars ...

Exciting kleptocracy ...

Exciting promotion of dislocation, death and destruction ...

MUCH more exciting than that damned loyal and dedicated Democrat Gephardt ...

FUCK GEPHARDT ! ...

19. Didn't Sharpton get more delegates than Gep?
I know Kucinich did. Why are picking the biggest loser from the primaries that was soundly rejected by the party?

21. Where's the "fuck no?"
Other than the unthinkable of Lieberman or McCain, I can't imagine anyone I would hate to pull the lever for more.
If he's indeed going to go with one of the former candidates then go with Edwards or Clark not the failed leadership of Gephardt (and not Dean...I don't want him muzzled by the constraints of running with Kerry).
I suspect that this might be the case, however, and it will be a reward for dirty work done well for the Democratic Party in Iowa.

Of course, I have no concern over who Bush chooses. As long as Kerry doesn't choose Gephardt.

Gephardt on his worst day is miles ahead of Bush or Cheney on their best.
