FReeps can't even generate a protest at DC premiere of 9-11

People are worried about these clowns disrupting showings of the movie?

One of their biggest chapters can't even get more than two people to show up at a national premiere. My question is how do they get someone to guard the port-a-pottie with that level of success.

Even if you don't like to get your feet dirty, I'd recommend checking out this thread just to read how these losers try to spin their non-event into a triumph.

Talk about blowing and/or jacking yourselves....

2. It's the chickenhawk mentality in full view, for the whole world to see
See, when it comes right down to it, they are skeered to confront anybody. That's the reason so few of them have ever been in the military...they are pussies at the core. That is why I always call them chickenshit chickenhawks.

Hey, maybe they can get our KIDS to go and cause disruptions at the theaters!

P.S. No offense to cats anywhere.

Hire some contractors. Blackwater would not be an option, they charge too much. I am sure they could find some Mexicans who would take the job for $10/hour.....

3. memo to Kristinn
a premier is the leader of a republic.
a premiere is the first showing of a movie.

but what do I expect from someone who's name ends in 'nn'? still, Kristinn, Mr. Webster worked his ass off to make his little book, why don't you use it now and then?

sorry. pet peeve: anyone who can't be bothered to use a word right but still feels compelled to attack others.

6. Woo... Lighten Up a Little
I understand the whole pet peeve thing, I have em myself. But, "What do I expect from someone who's name ends in 'nn'?" A little harsh, don't you think?

9. no thanks
I refuse to allow anyone to rant while using a word inproperly. If you make a habit of writing for public consumption (like Kristinn does) or speaking publically (also) then you should be held to a higher standard of word knowledge. Her rampant complaints about the 'premier' are so funny simply because she was talking about the leader of Canada (As far as I can tell) and not a movie. It made no sense, see?

13. lynn would be a real name
kristinn is a screen name, not her real name, so it was chosen. You can't pick the name your parents give you, but the one you choose yourself reflects something, don't you think? shows a pattern?

14. I Know What You're Saying
I'm just saying... "what do I expect from someone who's name ends in 'nn'?" is a little harsh. Not necessarily against her (she deserves it from what I read), but against all the good people of the world whose (not "who's") name ends in "nn". That's all.

Seriously though, Kristinn is a guy from the pictures I've seen posted.

Easy enough mistake however. I initially thought it was a woman (based on the name) as well.

These people seem delusional. Why would they be so completely against the movie unless they knew what was in it, and knew it to be false?

Are they proud of themselves for being so willfully ignorant of the facts surrounding 9/11 and the invasion of Iraq? Isn't their refusal to acknowledge how corrupt Bush & Cheney are (as well as all who unquestioningly support them) distinctly UN-patriotic?

There is clear and convincing evidence these guys are completely incompetent if not criminally negligent.

- spent the first year of their administration not doing anything at all about terrorism

- ignored expert advice warning them before the invasion that such an invasion would INCREASE terrorism, not decrease it (and lo and behold, terrorism is sharply UP!)

- diverted resources from the war on terror to chase after Saddam

- left KNOWN nuclear sites UNGUARDED in the days (weeks?) after they defeated Saddam's army, same as the museums... but managed to fully protect OIL FIELDS

The list goes on and on (and on and on and on and on), but these bush-party-loyalists never seem to catch on. I'd feel sorry for them if they weren't screwing up everything good about this country, and exacerbating everything bad about it!

Also, didn't the Bush gang adopt all the anti-terrorism measures that were suggested to them before 9/11, but they did this ONLY AFTER the 9/11 attacks had occurred?

Amazing how these uber-patriots openly joke about murdering American citizens.

To the comment that they should have set off the fire alarm in the theater, this is the reply:

Considering who was in attendance, setting the place on fire would be a better idea :-) And yes...... don't pull the fire alarm :-)

It's a fine line between a terrorist and a freeptard...

We had one, count 'em, one protestor. He was driving by in a truck with a bunch of junk painted on it, one being "In Bush We Trust".

The constable I was standing next to on the balcony was making fun of him.

27. right, who doesn't know their license plate?
seriously, it's a good thing to know, or have on you. If you call the cops and say "my truck was towed, you know, the red one?" it doesn't really help. Note that the person who knew their license plate found their car, without a ticket attached, exactly where they said it was, two blocks away. sheesh, c'mon people.

29. Apparently it caught them by suprise
They had no time to gather the forces necissary to drive this evil from the land as it swooped in unexpectedly. They had no forwarning. In typical devious liberal fashion it did not announce its presense*. Two valiant freepers sprung into action and saved the day.

*Well there was a ad blitz campaign and daily news stories about it and constant droning on about it in the Halls of Freep. But other than that they had no warning.

The W Post mentioned at least two days ahead of time that the Uptown was doing a premiere. It also mentioned where the after-party would be although the lily-white Freeps would never have had the guts to pull their crap in Adams Morgan.

Just trying to cover for their pathetic turnout.
