ABC News/Washington Post poll has Bush trailing Kerry by 20 as far as...
Who is more in touch with the problems of the people. Bush also trails Kerry by 13 when voters were asked who was more trustworthy.

Hard to conceive of a couple of criteria that have much more bearing on the way people vote than these. For a pair of mainstream, corporate controlled entities like these two to own up to these kind of doomsday stats for BushCo...barring some kind of miraculous performance by Diebold - and/or an amazingly effective, long forecast October "surprise" (risky since the BFEE has made enemies of the CIA - and stand an excellent chance of getting themselves caught) - the Evil War Chimp is truly political toast! (and mind you - this poll was taken BEFORE the release of Fahrenheit 9-11 - and Chimpy's "interview" - an outside criminal defense lawyer at his side - for the Plame Investigation!)

2. and when people see that Booker school 7-minute snip in F-911,
stick a fork in *, he'll be done.

He'll be shown as a f**king coward who failed all of us on that day.

3. The problem with polls like this
is that it gives people a dangerous sense of inevitability. If people think their candidate is going to win no matter what, many people won't bother to vote.

Secondly, I don't necessarily trust polls. The results are way too subjective depending on the questions asked and the democraphics who were polled.

7. Well I guess you are right.
Its time to give up. Let's never have any hope. Let's always lose. the polls are only wrong when Kerry is ahead.

10. Did I piss in your cereal or something?
Are you saying there's no validity to my concern? That I'm being silly? That we shouldn't guard against complacency?

Please explain to me what your gripe is about.

12. I can assure you that I'm NOT complacent!
But I do think it helps to spread the word that our efforts are bearing some fruit! We can win - and we are winning - and people should know about it! We want the sheeple to follow us (they like winners)!!

11. I doubt that would happen this year
I don't care if it was GUARANTEED that Bush would lose by 50 million votes, I would still get out there and cast a ballot for Kerry. If for no other reason than it's the only direct action I can take against Bush.

And I've been itching to take direct action against him since he was installed.

5. There are probably many factions and loyalties at the CIA...
and it is possible that there is a deep cover black ops group that is working for the Bush Crime Family. I wouldn't view the CIA as monolithic.

There is the chance, too, that Poppy may be getting fed up with all the born-again idiocy of his son and will create a convenient scandal to oust his boy. Many fathers feel competitive and do things to sabotage their sons.

6. I don't discount the likelihood that the BFEE has rogue elements of
CIA...but they pissed off enough who could bust them - and WOULD!!

13. that's why the media runs the "Kerry is rich" stories
To try to get us to resent Kerry's wealth.

Same day this poll came out, these stories about Kerry's Nantucket weekend also were published.
