Oh, the irony!!

here's the letter I sent:

Dear Editor -

Our president, Mr. Bush, is a traitor and a war criminal. Given the facts of the lies leading to the Iraq war and the facts of Abu Ghraib, it is clear that he and his key leaders should be tried for treason and crimes against humanity. At the least he should be elected out of office so our country may recover from his mismanagement. He is a danger to the world because of his "religious" "piety" which is no different, in effect, from that of the fundamentalist Muslims who bombed my office on 9-11, or the “piety” of Al Qaeda.

Fundamentalism is dangerous both to the people conned into it and the neighbors of those people. And when it happens that the person who has the nuclear button, who leads the world's largest military and a country of incredible power, is of a falsely Christian messianic and fundamentalist camp, that person should not be allowed to rule over any people.

It is Mr. Bush's mix of politics with fundamentalist black-and-white "you're either with us or against us" immature thinking and his utter disregard for the Constitution - the law of our land - that has brought my country to disaster and resulted in the enactment of his crimes against the world and the American people. He is a war criminal and a traitor.

I implore all people to vote Mr. Bush out of office in November, and help save the world.
