Now, I do try to scroll through and see if someone else has made a post before I throw one out. I suppose we could all do better at that. But here i am, lacking time, so I'm throwing out something that may have already been touched on by someone...
Did anyone else hear Clinton's interview on Fresh Air? Teri Gros (sp?) is one of the best interviewers of all time. She brought out the issues I wanted Clinton to discuss. When he spoke of getting his tax cut, he remarked for a time on how 300,000 kids were spit out of after-school programs just so he could have a little more. He said he didn't know anyone- Republican or Democrat - personally who had received their "tax cut to the wealthy" who was happy about it or who thought it made sense. He spoke of how National Guardsmen ( the grunts doing Bush's bidding) were having to fight for health coverage ( because Bush & CO. have to stiff the little guy to woo the rich who might fatten his campaign coffers?)
Anyhoo, I didn't catch it all, but share what you heard....
