There is no compromise in their cold hearts. There is only one way home - victory. We must defeat them at the polls. We must send the radicals in the House and Senate back to their little right-wing villages and let them proselytize at their local VFW clubs or whereever they can find their rabid little audiences.

We can be under no illusion. The ideal of compromise as an American tradition is long gone. These people are bent on the destruction of everything you believe in and have fought and died for. This is no time for patriotic mutterings. This is the last chance we get for a peaceful resolution to this radical takeover of our government.

This is all or nothing. It was compromise that got us into this mess in the first place. I don't want to be united. I don't want to appeal the other side. I don't want to try to see things from their point of view. I am one one partisan SOB and I want clear and total victory.

Just today I made sure that my 19 year old is going to vote for his first time this Nov.

I continue to lobby my very large family via email and keep track of their commitments to go and vote.

At work, we have another email group which is growing and stays committed to talking about turnout.

All and all, I have personally generated at least 10 times the voter turnout I did 4 years ago. That's what we have to do at a grass roots level...each and every one of us.

It doesn't take much time....just think of who you know and who you can bug about it.

I cannot think of a more important election in my (long) life. This election will decide who we as a country. really are. It is also a test of the political process: to determine if it has been so corrupted by money and media complicity, that democracy has ceased to exist.
