Which Party is most dismissive of the other when they are in control ?
As we know, the Repubs have more or less been in control of the House and Senate since 1994. They have ignored the requests of Democrats to be involved in the process of legislating. Many times the Democrats have felt like they could have just stayd home. Were the Republicans treated just as badly when the Democrats were in control? No doubt, they had their complaints, but I do not recall them being totally dismissed as they hve done to the Democrats? Is there any difference in the Parties in this regard?

1. This is a trick question, right?
The Republicans are the undisputed kings in this regard.

Just note all the dirty tactics that they use for holding up votes, killing bills in committee, and just being dirty in general.

2. No, dems weren't as dismissive
This is the first time the Repubs have had control of Congress and the WH in years----like Hastert (?) said, when it's the first time you've had complete control, it's hard to rule--you've had no practice at it. I think they flunked the test. Let's get things back to normal with President Kerry's administration.

3. trick question: democrats are never "in control" even with a majority
i can't recall the last time democrats had enough of a majority and/or party dicipline to ignore the republicans. probably hasn't happened since fdr, which is why republicans remain so bitter about everything he ever did. except wwii, of course, though they never give him any credit for it.

4. Publickans don't have the character to lead.
Cynical, radical, prevaricating, partisan bullies. They should be demonized for the uncivilized animals they are and never allowed to be taken seriously again.

Seriously, they are elitist thugs, enemies of The People and completely unAmerican. We must show the rest of the world that America stands for real freedom, real responsibility and real sustainable leadership. We should be leading the world, not attempting to conquer it.
