1. Hmmmm...the air conditioning was off in the movie theater
I was in as well.....It's a conspiracy. To make people uncomfortable so that they don't enjoy the film fully and will vote for Bush in the fall.:7

7. It was off inmy theater
The lobby was like an icebox, but the theater itself was not air conditioned. I wonder why.

3. The Trader Joe's Green Tea I drank beforehand

made me have to get up and pee... twice! Conspiracy!

Packed house, sold out, 10 min. applause at end.

Great movie.

checking in. Here in bible country the local theater was packed, with a very boisterous audience. There was a lot of gasps, murmers, applause, crying. The movie is that good.

5. I'm in California, and they didn't turn the AC off
maybe in other places they wanted you to get a taste of what Iraq is like this time of year

6. All's good in TX
Having lived in OR, the Bijou's A/C was never good. Maybe you weren't in Eugene, though.

Amazingingly, in TX - north Dallas, republican SUV-burb - our host, the Angelika Plano, had superb sound, beutiful air conditioning, nice seats, agreeable audience (cheered at the end) and an incredible showing of Kerry buttons. Texas is lost, but not without a fight.

Voting is fighting.

8. MINE TOO!
I was like :wtf:

I complained twice, and ultimately demanded my money back. Ridiculous. I even checked out the other theaters briefly, the AC was fine in there.

Motherfuckers.

14. Yes, I was in the top row
and started sweating the people in the row in the back started to say it was hot.
However, it was packed and on the average people give off 83 W. Maybe the A/C is geared for 1/2 to 2/3's full.

9. Honestly I'm more comfortable when a theater is warm
Maybe it's just me, but when the A/C is cranked in a theater I almost always have to pee half way through the movie. Peeing during F-911 was not an option. <- Use that quote in your ads next week Mike. :)

10. Maybe the AC was on, but the audience
was so angered by the film that their body heat warmed the place up.

More realistically, they probably had the AC set for a not full house.

15. Isn't it funny, though, that these theaters were SELLING OUT beforehandbut
couldn't figure out that they would have a full house, and thus might consider turning the thermostat down for the show?

11. The AC was on and fine in our showing in Century Theater San Jose.
But I did start to sweat to. It's funny. I forgot about that until you just mentioned it!
