Since the campaign for shrub is using the Hitler ad,
I wonder if MoveOn still has that Hitler ad that someone submitted. How bad was it? Was it untrue?

Since shrub has this ad on his website, I think Dems should revisit the shrub-Hitler comparison!

1. A good place to start
In "Fascism Anyone?," Dr. Lawrence Britt, a political scientist, identifies 14 characteristics common to fascist regimes. His comparisons of Hitler, Mussolini, Franco, Suharto, and Pinochet yielded this list of 14 "identifying characteristics of fascism."

Chock full of point-by-point links, I've forwarded this to one & all:

2. Yes, I was thinking about that as I posted
We need to make ads with that info in it too. My point is the RNC cried foul over that one MoveOn ad and now they are using the comparison - they can't call foul now - they swung at the same pitch, so to speak!

3. the ad is a sign of desperation
just ask Max Cleland, Paul O'Neill, Richard Clarke, Joseph Wilson, Tom Daschle (to name a few)

whenever someone poses a "threat" to bush* inc. - they are immediately slimed and covered with mud as an attempt to discredit them

Whenever there is no "high ground" for bush* inc. to stand on - they take to the pig styes and start throwing mud

yes, bush* inc. will probably try to spin it as "...but you did it first...", so I ask - is retailiating by using the same sort of images a sign of being an adult? Is this the way bush* brings dignity to the White House? meanwhile, why all the negative attacks on Kerry - doesn't bush* have anything "positive" to say about his own 'accomplishments'? and please explain how negativity indicates that bush* is an optomist?

idea for anyone with flash animation capabilities:

have bush* popping out of a pig stye throwing mudballs at photos of the aforementioned people...
