Absolute PROOF of Republican hypocrisy
A few months back Moveon.org sponsored an add contest. Some of the entries included Hitler being compared to bush. Here is what the Republicans had to say about it.

But two of more than 1,500 submissions have outraged Republicans and leading Jewish groups for comparing Mr. Bush, in profile and policy, to Hitler.

"This is the worst and most vile form of political hate speech," Ed Gillespie, chairman of the Republican National Committee, said in one of several statements he issued. He urged the nine Democrats running for president to repudiate the advertisements.

Now flash to the present. Visit the george bush web site. You will see right on the first page a video comparing the Democrats to Hitler. I guess vile is all in who is doing the comparing!

2. Actually, no it isn't
What the video was showing were the 2 ads that were submitted to MoveOn, using them as examples of Democratic intolerance and negativity towards Shrub. Not that it matters that they are still accurate portrayals of Shrub.

Still, the juxtapositioning could easily fool some people into thinking they were using the same Hitler comparison. It's either very poor thinking or really sleazy scheming on the Repub's part. Either way, they are desperate and know full well that they can (and will) lose this November.

3. Is it the same picture of Hitler in the Bush ad and the anonymously
submitted ad to moveon? I thought I saw something to that effect, but I don't want to make false accusations like Bushco.

4. Ummmm. . . .
Actually it is using the very ads that you referenced from Moveon.org to illustrate their point. Although if you don't know about the Moveon.org controversy it can be confusing, the idea is not to compare Democrats to Hitler.

6. I wonder if the dirty tricks squad submitted the Hitler ad to Moveon
in the first place....with the full intention of screaming about it later? I wouldn't put anything past them.

7. Interesting
The MoveON.org story got lots of press coverage and it was all about two little private citizens comparing bush to Hitler. The ADL came out against it and everything. Yet when bush himself compares the democrats to Hitler, it gets zero press. Much less press then when Kerry called bush and thugs liars and crooks.

10. The whole point of the ad is hyperbole coming from. . . .
Democrats. Hence the name "wild eyed". Using the clips of "Democrats" comparing Bush to Hitler is meant to illustrate just how far Democrats will go to defeat Bush.
