CHENEY'S FU: What Do We Tell The Children???
Edited on Sat Jun-26-04 10:45 AM by napkinz

Oh, the hypocrisy. When Clinton did a "bad" thing, the right-wing cried out, "What do we tell the children!" Cheney said it was immoral and that the Clintons were evil incarnate. That seemed to comfort little George. Now Cheney uses a "bad" word and the right-wing remains silent.

At least someone is speaking out:

Hey George A Message From Pooh

Oh, Dick, what about the children???

1. Buhahaha
These people are such losers.

They bitch about the hollywood elitists and elect one as Governor. The rant against big government and increase the size of it with a vengeance. They preach state's rights -- unless it entails their candidate will lose a presidential election.

9. The Way It Was (back in January)
"last month, Democratic Massachusetts Senator John Kerry used the f-word in a formal interview with Rolling Stone magazine. ... To the liberal Democrat, public cursing ... is of no consequence. ... To the rest of America, however, when a man who runs for president deliberately uses the f-word in an interview with a national magazine, it is cause for concern. ... if he uses the f-word in public in an interview, that is the public's concern."

Republicans Denounce Kerry Cursing

8. Normally a little swearing doens't hurt me
I used the, "what will we tell the kids" line and I guess I sounded apalled. One of the conservatives in all honesty said he told his kids it was a bad word and blah, blah. Then the other neocons went into, "What about Kerry"? mode.
Basically, Kerry was not on the Seate floor and not using it against someone. And Cheney's supposed religiousity and greatness make him a hypocrite extroadinaire.

14. Things have improved some...
At least they're not beating each other senseless with canes anymoree, as stated in an article I read today.

This article (I think it was AP) had a quote that the "Age of Incivility" started with Newt Gingrich. Intersting. i said the same thing just last night.

We tell the children that Dick Cheney is a very bad man, and if he ever offers them candy, to kick him in the crotch and go run and tell an adult.
