Why Ryan wanting to have sex in public wasn't kept sealed:

Because he wanted to do it in public, probably.

I understand that most of his divorce records were unsealed but redacted, and the judge probably had to make a decision about what shouldn't be entitled privacy (to protect his child).

When the judge saw that Ryan took his famous wife to a sex club and asked her to have sex with him in front of other people, well, that probably wasn't the sort of information that they guy was trying to keep private, the judge probably decided.

Information isn't kept from the public unless it's truly necessary.
