What if everyone thought being a C student was something to brag about? What if everyone said "Go f*ck yourself" in places where they should be showing respect? What if everyone didn't read the papers or pay attention to the news?
What if everyone thought it was cool to be a nasty, pampered, failing, DUI-convicted drunk and drug abuser for the first 40 years of life? What if everyone got their job from their dad or his friends?
What if everyone treated those who disagreed with them as enemies and bad people?
What if everyone fudged and hid the numbers on their spending (as Bush and Cheney did with Medicare and Iraq) and built up a huge debt on their credit cards?
What if everyone thought you could fix anything by just giving it a whack with a stick and "letting the chips fall where they may" as Bush said? What if everyone felt it was OK to fight wars for any reason whatsoever as long as they didn't have to risk their own lives? What if everyone said "bring it on" when they heard that their neighbors' children were facing harm in a foreign war?
What if no one ever admitted to making mistakes, and actively fought against transparency and accountability in their businesses?
Is America under the spell of the Bush/Cheney approach? Is the world? What are they teaching us?
