First let me second the motion to create a separate F 9/11 forum.
Went to the matinee - haven't gone to a movie in about 4 years. Here in The Third Reich Suburbs it wasn't sold out. Maybe 2 or 3 hundred at this showing. Is showing in 10 theaters in the Denver area. The ones in Denver are sold out.
I laughed and I cried. The film is unrelenting propaganda - but probably 99% truthful. The most artistic part was the trash floating around after the twin towers' collapse. The screen had been blank with only the sounds of the planes crashing then it lightened into the debris floating around. I thought of all the souls that had just been released. I cringed when they beheaded the guy in Saudi Arabia. But the most disturbing part for me was the scenes of the families of the victims of 9/11. The funniest bit was the "fool me once" thing. I think Bush should get an Oscar nomination.
Anyway, we passed out all our voter registration applications after the show. No problem. We did not present ourselves as campaigning for anybody. Outside the theater was a Move-On organizer passing out flyers about Monday's on-line town meeting.
