I get at least 3 letters a day from some group asking me to donate. I really don't know who to send my $15 donations to anymore.

I swear, the attempted hijacking of such terms as "left," "liberal," and "progressive" around here by a small minority is hysterical.

Tell you what, give me the all encompassing definition of what "left" means and then demonstrate how the platform of the democratic party isn't left.

6. The idea that "the left" should concentrate all its efforts

and all anti-fascists on one single front is tactically stupid. MoveOn does good work, Moore does good work, the Sierra Club does good work, the ACLU does good work.... Yep, damn the impure, kick them and denounce them. That'll help. PETA? F'em, too outrageous. Dykes on Bikes? Get them outta here, they give us a bad name. Gen. Clark? Served in an imperialist war, a spawn of Satan. Clinton? No way! Tell them all to get pure or get lost. Teah, that's the ticket!
