Bill Clinton and Ted Kennedy will get primetime for Convention
president clinton will help open the convention on the first day with a primetime speech. ted kennedy will speak on the second day at primetime. while many others will get to speak they will get times when viewership is likely to be highest. the 3rd and 4th days will focus on the vp and pres candidates.
it's no surprise that the best time slots are reserved for the popular president and for the popular senior senator from the presidential candidate's homestate who has worked with kerry for years and knows him well.
he mentions clinton many times himself.and he talks with clinton regularly. and they are discussing ways clinton can promote kerry while also going on his book tour.
4. probably, i'm just talking about those who will speak at best times
there will be many speakers every day. but i'm just mentioning the ones who will speak when viewership will be at the highest. and on the first day it will be clinton who gets that time. 2nd day ted kennedy, and 3rd and 4th days will be for the vp candidate and the pres candidate . but between those times there will be many other speakers. i know kerry has already asked jennifer granholm and al sharpton to speak. all democrats in office get a chance to speak. the only thing is that during much of the time nobody really watches.even those at the convention aren't paying attention much of the time.
