For my fellow educators...
I just found this web site and it looks like a good site to help teach our students to be more critical of the information that is given to them by the media.I think the idea of media literacy can and should be incorporated into most aspects of the curriculum including math and science.

we teach kids to judge commercials. Teaching them to judge the news they read and see on TV is even more important IMO.
We have stopped teaching kids to be citizens...now we just teach them to be consumers and employees.
