Rudy Giuliani: Just another GOP whore.
On 9/11 and the days that followed, Rudy was an inspired and inspiring leader who filled the vacuum left by our vacuous president.

Giuliani has now accepted a prime-time speaking spot at the Republican convention (otherwise known as the Bush Coronation).

No one knows better than Rudy how Bush has screwed New York in terms of funds for firefighters, police and all other aspects that would help protect the city against another attack.

The largest per-person federal security grants have gone to Wyoming, Cheney's home state. Is someone expecting terrorists to blow up the Grand Teton's?

Giuliani should not be so cavalier about throwing away the respect and admiration he earned on 9/11. Yet, here he is, getting ready to pimp for BushCo during the convention.

Never underestimate how low any politician is willing to go. Well, to emulate Dick Cheney: Rudy, go f*ck yourself.

1. King Rudy has always been a scumbag...
of the first order.

He sucked as a federal prosecutor, and treated NYC as his personal fiefdom.

His primary talent was always for good PR while ruling, badly, with an iron fist. Fits right in with the current GOP.

2. Disgusting, how . . .
. . . the "family values" Repug crowd is so willing to look the other way and give Rudy a pass on his serial fooling around outside of his marriage. And his announcing to Donna and their kids via a TV news soundbite that he wanted a divorce.

Shameless.

3. Never inspiring, merely competent - media beatified him.
Don't forget how he went on MTP and said W is chosed by God.
As a new Yorker I'll never forgive him the closing of the ad hoc memorial at Union Square. He is a fascist who bankrupted the city 2 days before 911.

4. "It's Guiliani Time"
Talk about fostering a climate of abuse in the PD.

5. * just should not have Rudy speak about family values when he has the
platform. Look how the repukes this week ate their own, Jack Ryan, and thus it could be embarassing for the the party in general to have Rudy as their frontman.
