2004 Election - Is it fixed?
I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but after watching F9/11 put everything together it's obvious the fix was in for Florida:

1) Purging thousands of legitimate voters
2) Bush's 1st cousin calling Florida for Bush after every other major news outlet had called it for Gore
3) Katherine Harris, co-chair of Bush's Florida campaign
4) Supreme Court filled with Daddy's picks

Then that quote from Bush when he's on the plane with Jeb saying something like "You can bank on it, I'm going to win Florida."

Moving on to 2004. Here's a partial transcript from 'Meet the Press' interview on 2/8/2004:

Russert: Are you prepared to lose?
President Bush: No, I'm not going to lose.
Russert: If you did, what would you do?
President Bush: Well, I don't plan on losing.

Add to that the Diebold voting machines with no paper receipts. Anyone with access to the database could write a simple query to switch votes from Kerry to Bush.

We all know this administration will do anything to get him elected again, legal or not. Is there anything we can do to prevent them from fixing the upcoming election?

1. Get out to vote in large numbers
A few strategic elections may be "fixed", but if the electorate gets out to dump this bozo in large numbers, I think we can overwhelm him. Worst thing to do is to listen to the polls and think we can't make a difference.

3. Ever hear the term "vote with your feet'?
I think we should all cast our votes and head to DC. If they ignore 'vapor ballots' that are cast against them and manipulate polling places here and there, let's all just show up live and in person.

They might just have trouble pretending they won an election if the masses show up in person to contest their conclusions.

4. Bush has to say that
Just like Kerry has to say it. At this point if anyone even mentions that there is a chance they might not win, they would get nothing but negative press for at least a week.

I don't think the fix is in. I think we just have to get our message out and get our folks to the polls.

5. Everybody in Diebold states vote absentee
And then have observers in every county to make sure those ballots are counted correctly.

6. the Meet the Press interview
doesn't say much. What did you want him to say, "Aww fuck it John Kerry seems like a good guy, I'm going to let him run unopposed." Diebold seems shady as hell to me though.
