Poll question: Who Made Up Most Of The Audience When You Saw Fahrenheit 9-11?
When I saw it on Saturday I walked away from the movie remembering the people who were in the theater more-so than the movie itself.

It was packed with senior citizens. In a theater that sat about 200, I'd say there were about 125 seniors there.

The rest of the audience were young kids around my age (25), some people in their 30's - a LOT of women - and a sprinkling of black people.

What were the demographics like when you went?

1. a few younger people but definitely a majority of middle aged
but aren't we 'boomers' still a very large majority of the population? So that seeing a large majority in the theatre would represent a normal percentage, 'average' joes?

2. Well, Eastern Washington has a small minority population...
....so it's not surprising that most people there were white, but even so, there was a mix of young and old, men and women.

6. How did the movie go with the crowd in Eastern WA?

Any Freeper problems??

I was actually surprised that I didn't see any, since I saw the movie in a theater in close proximity to Ft. Lewis & McChord AFB.

Nothing but applause and standing ovations there. With Kerry signs and voter registration in the parking lot.

The crowd (Friday night) was a good mix of all ages and ethnicities. Despite the hyped "R" rating, there were kids present.

9. Fantastic and long applause at the end of the movie and sold out.
I know our side of the Cascades is thought of as pretty solidly republican, but we had over 2000 people turn out to march against the war on Feb 15, 2003 (which is impressive for our area).

7. Wow, just the opposite for me. . .
It was 90% younger audience - as in 30 and younger.

8. I couldn't tell... it was dark!
But it did seem that a lot of people I saw were under 25 or so... maybe because it was late Friday night, or maybe they're more politically curious than I'd give them credit for.

10. Mostly upper middle class of all ages. Teens to eighty something
My sister insisted in seeing the movie in an upper middle class section of NJ instead of in Philly which is closer to us. Surprisingly the crowd was very vocal and rowdy and I have to admit I had a good time watching it with them despite my misgivings.

12. Just came from the movie
and it was a pretty solid mixture of all folks. I am 46 and I talked to a guy who was 82. I also saw a number of younger folks in the theater. A pretty good crowd for a Sunday afternoon at 12:00 noon. A lot of people who wanted the "bargain" matinee I think.
